Meeting: Southeast Dubois Schools
November 5, 2020The Southeast Dubois School Board met Wednesday and:
• Heard a presentation about plans to safely have the public in attendance at winter sports games with the COVID-19 virus still prevalent in the county. Those plans include restricting the number of people who can attend, having athletes sign a policy stating that they are not to attend if they are in quarantine, and possibly streaming games online.
• Approved the 2021-22 school calendar.
• Approved the 2021-22 administrator contracts and the master contract between the board and Classroom Teachers Association.
• Accepted Jesse Hagedorn’s resignation as the junior varsity baseball coach.
• Hired Taylin Friedman as an instructional assistant at Pine Ridge Elementary School, Lisa Schroeder as Student Council advisor at Cedar Crest Intermediate School and Winston Glenn as the junior high wrestling coach.
