Meeting: Southeast Dubois Schools

The Southeast Dubois School Board met Wednesday and:

• Encouraged the public to help with upcoming fundraisers. Those include the chorus and drama club selling Butter Braids this month. The FFA department will conduct its annual fruit sale in December. And Forest Park High School will have the Ford Drive 4 Ur school fundraiser on Sept. 14, through which each person attending will earn $40 for the school; another $20 is earned if a legal driver test drives one of the cars at the fundraiser.

• Accepted Nettie Boeglin’s resignation as robotics sponsor at Ferdinand Elementary School and assigned Kerri Winkler as the new sponsor.

• Hired Carolyn Oeding as the special education bus monitor, Alicia Rappe as a cook at Forest Park Junior-Senior High School and Kyla Leuken as student council adviser at Cedar Crest Intermediate School.
