Meeting: Jasper Public Library
July 10, 2020The Jasper Public Library Board met Thursday and:
• Heard an update on the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center project. Crews are finishing up asphalt work on Mill Street, putting down topsoil on the landscaping and installing ducts in the library’s portion of the building.
• Heard that the first art exhibit of 2021 in the cultural center will be John Mellencamp: Paintings and Assemblages. The artwork by the famous musician will be on display from January to March 2021.
• Heard that neither the library nor the city is interested in purchasing the former Villa Pizzeria property near the cultural center.
