Meeting: Jasper Public LibraryNovember 15, 2019
The Jasper Public Library Board met Thursday and:
• Approved a contract with the Dubois County Contractual Library Board for shared services. The contract requires the contractual library to pay the Jasper Public Library $87,000 in 2020 for shared services, such as administrative salaries.
• Approved a quote from Matrix Integration of Jasper for $48,706 to upgrade two computer servers. The current servers are from 2008.
• Heard that construction on the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center is going well. The arts wing is being framed, and roofing is about to begin. Most of the steel work should be completed by the end of December. The project is still on track for substantial completion by the end of 2020.
