Meeting: Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals

The Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals met Wednesday and:

• Approved a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance for the Greater Jasper Middle School Building Corporation to allow a school transportation facility and fueling station in a low density residential zone, a variance to allow an accessory structure to have a maximum height greater than 22 feet, a variance to allow more than two accessory structures in a certain area and a variance to allow an accessory structure located forward of the front building line of Jasper Middle School. Brad Eckerle of Brosmer Land Survey and Engineering said the new building will be a maintenance structure where school buses can receive maintenance.

• Approved a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance for TAS Partners, LLC, as petitioners, and Mike and Pat Hochgesang Family Limited Partnership, as owners, to allow a residential planned unit development on a cultivated field east of Legacy Living of Jasper.
