Meeting: Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals

The Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals met Wednesday and:

• Approved a variance for Randall and Margaret Hochgesang to build a third accessory building on their property at 1246 Second Ave.

• Approved a variance for Maglinger Home Services to operate a counseling center in a building owned by the Catholic Diocese of Evansville at 408 St. John St., which is zoned residential. The board also approved Maglinger to have a 4-square-foot sign and it approved the center not having four off-street parking spaces as required by the city's Unified Development Ordinance.
