Meeting: Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals

The Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals met Wednesday and:
• Approved a variance permitting the construction of a square, 60-foot-by-60-foot metal shed on a vacant lot at 2657 S. Meridian Rd. A residence has not yet been constructed on the property, and the variance was approved with the stipulation that a house be constructed within two years.
• Approved a zoning variance permitting Stella Property Group, LLC, the current owners of the former Heichelbech’s Restaurant and Bar building on 12th Street, to convert the structure into a multi-family dwelling consisting of four units.
