Meeting: Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals

The Jasper Board of Zoning Appeals met Wednesday and:

• Approved a height and setback variance allowing Marla and Drew Englert to demolish a shed and extend a rectangular building near the intersection of 11th and Main streets, contingent on a property survey.

• Approved a setback variance allowing Beth Fakes to add on to her home at 1492 W. Fifth Ave.

• Approved the installation of a freestanding monument sign for the Legends of Autumn Creek II neighborhood, located at 800 Reyling Dr. It will be similar to the sign that marks Kerstiens’ nearby Legends of Autumn Creek (I) neighborhood.
