The Huntingburg Board of Public Works and Safety met Thursday and:
”¢ Heard from Street Superintendent Jason Stamm that several city streets are missing from the state’s inventory. A story is can be found here.
”¢ Signed a three-year agreement with the Huntingburg Youth Soccer League to allow the league to use the fields immediately west of the city’s wastewater treatment plant on Second Street at no charge.
”¢ Declared a 1989 fire department pickup truck surplus. The city will advertise for sealed bids for the vehicle.
”¢ Approved the YMI’s request to use the City Hall parking lot from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 4 for the YMI’s annual car show. The club also may use Fourth Street between Jackson and Van Buren streets for overflow.
”¢ Approved a request from Southwest Dubois School Corp. to use First and Jackson streets and the walking trails at City Park for a 5K run and walk beginning at 9 a.m. June 1 to benefit the Raiders Involved in Daily Growth and Enrichment program.
