Meeting: Holland Town Council

The Holland Town Council met Wednesday and:

• Approved the requests of two property owners to place manufactured homes on their property as long as the placement of the homes meets the lot requirements outlined in the town’s housing ordinance.

• Approved the subdivision of the former Morris (Dusty) and Susan Hubster property in the 1000 block of Ohio Street amongst their three children.

• Heard from resident Andrew McKeough that he is still enduring storm water drainage issues on his property in the 200 block of Fourth Street.

• Decided to advertise with a public hearing a proposed sewer inspection ordinance to require a sanitary sewer inspection for prospective sellers and buyers of residences within the town corporate limits. The hearing and possible adoption of the ordinance is slated for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Town Hall, 505 W. Main St.
