Meeting: Dubois County Solid Waste
June 16, 2020The Dubois County Solid Waste Management District Board met Monday and:
• Approved the district’s proposed 2021 budget that totals $231,000, the same amount as the 2020 budget. The Dubois County Commissioners also approved the budget. It will be sent to the Dubois County Council, who will review it in August.
• Approved purchasing an International truck from Sternberg for $71,661; the commissioners also approved the purchase. The cost of the truck, which replaces the Ford truck that is no longer working, comes from the $85,000 that the county council earmarked in the county’s current budget for the purchase.
• Heard that the next meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, in the commissioners/council room, on the second floor of the Dubois County Courthouse Annex, 602 Main St., Jasper.
