Meeting: Dubois County Airport AuthorityNovember 13, 2018
The Dubois County Airport Authority met Monday and:
• Extended by a month Kimball International’s lease on the hangar the company uses at the airport. The company and airport are negotiating Kimball’s lease, which expired Nov. 1. Authority members hope the negotiations will be completed soon now that the company’s new leadership has been installed.
• Learned that 95 percent of the cracks on the airport grounds have been sealed. Airport Manager Travis McQueen thanked the City of Huntingburg for letting the airport use its crack-sealing machine, as well as the five interns at the airport, who have done most of the work.
• Heard that the first responder training class held Wednesday evening was well attended.
