MasterBrand Cabinets awards scholarships

MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. recently awarded 10 $1,000 college scholarships to dependents of its associates. The scholarship recipients were chosen based on their scholastics, community involvement and extracurricular activities. Each scholarship is renewable up to three additional years. An independent judging committee reviewed all applications and selected the recipients.

Jadon Mehringer of Jasper is the son of Marianne Mehringer and a graduate of Jasper High School. He plans to major in physical sciences while attending Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. His mother works in the Corporate Office in Jasper.

 

Sampson Booth of Liberty, North Carolina, is the son of Waylon Booth. He graduated from Providence Grove High School and plans to major in physical therapy while attending Campbell University. His father works at the Liberty, North Carolina, facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sara Hanebutt of Evanston is the daughter of Bryan Hanebutt. She graduated from Heritage Hills High School and plans to major in social work and social services while attending Indiana University. Her father works at the Ferdinand facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Millie Prechtel of Huntingburg is the daughter of Ryan Prechtel. She graduated from Jasper High School and plans to major in textile and apparel management while attending the University of Missouri in Columbus. Her father works at the Corporate Office in Jasper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paige Small of Jasper is the daughter of Emily Small and a graduate of Jasper High School. She plans to major in art, music and drama education while attending Murray State University. Her mother works in the Corporate Office in Jasper. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Noah Smithson, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, is the son of Ryan Smithson. He graduated from being homeschooled and plans to attend Western Carolina University to major in engineering systems. His father works at the Lexington, North Carolina, facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

William Sternberg of Jasper is the son of Renae Sternberg and is a graduate of Jasper High School. He plans to major in Flight (professional flight technology) while attending Purdue University. His mother works in the Corporate Office in Jasper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Karlie Tischendorf of Santa Claus is the daughter of Terry Tischendorf. She graduated from Heritage Hills High School and plans to major in marine biology while attending Purdue University. Her father works at the Huntingburg facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alex Weyer of Ferdinand is the son of Chris Weyer and a graduate of Forest Park High School. He plans to major in mechanical engineering technology while attending Purdue University. His father works at the Huntingburg facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katie Winkler of Ferdinand is the daughter of Alan Winkler. She graduated from Forest Park High School and plans to major in music performance while attending Baldwin-Wallace College. Her father works at the Corporate Office in Jasper.
