Mary Marie Cox, 83, of Avon, formerly of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, at Brooke Knoll Village in Avon.
She was born in French Lick on April 30, 1936, to Chester Smith and Bernice (Luttrell) Marlett.
Mary married Samuel H. Cox on May 22, 1952, and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leon Smith.
Mary is survived by two sons, Kevin Cox Mesa, Arizona, and Jeff Cox (Jodi) Bainbridge; two brothers, Charles Smith (Rosemary) Jasper, and Harold Smith (Wanda) Indianapolis; one sister, Violet Wineinger (Charlie) Jasper; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildre
A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 11a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick.
