December 8, 2020Mary Lou Janssen, age 90, of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, IN.

Mary Lou was born in Orange County, Indiana, on February 25, 1930, to Charles R. and Elsie May (Nelson) Dixon. She married Glen E. Janssen on October 3, 1980. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2009.
She worked at Kimball Piano.
She was a member of Redemption Church in Jasper, IN.
Mary Lou enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and playing her accordion.
Surviving are one daughter; Beverly Wigand, Jasper, IN, one step-son, Bill (Anne) Janssen, Washington State, two step-daughters; Glenda Cooley, Colorado, Joyce Huggien, Colorado, one grandson, Daron Crowder and six step-grandchildren; Billy Janssen, Joey Janssen, Tonya Cooley, Kristine Anderson, Billy Joe, Amanda and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, are two brothers; Ralph Dixon and Leroy Dixon, three sisters; Grace Richardson, Sara Denton and Roxie Crowder.
A visitation for Mary Lou Janssen will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Becher Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, IN.
Graveside services and burial will follow the visitation on Friday, December 11, at Cuzco Cemetery in Cuzco, IN. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Redemption Church.
