Martin County man booked on warrant

JASPER — A Martin County man who had been in the Knox County Security Center was booked into jail Monday on a Dubois Circuit Court warrant.
Court documents allege that in September, Andy R. Holt, 41, Shoals, took between $450 and $500 in cash from the Jasper Swap Shop, 497 Third Ave.
The case was investigated by the Jasper Police Department and Holt was charged with Level 5 felony burglary and misdemeanor theft.
Authorities have also filed a notice of intent to seek habitual offender status in the case because Holt has prior convictions in Martin County for receiving stolen property and burglary.
During a June initial hearing, the court issued a warrant to bring Holt to Dubois County when he was released from Knox County custody. Authorities booked Holt into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:24 p.m. Monday on the active warrant.
