Martha L. Meyer, 71, Jasper
August 27, 2020Martha L. Meyer, age 71, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at her home.

Martha was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on May 3, 1949, to Paul and Wilma (Eck) Meyer.
Martha attended Vincennes University and Vincennes Beauty College. She was a hairdresser for fifty years. She had also worked at Wal-Mart and had been a caregiver.
She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township.
She enjoyed traveling and building a successful business.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Ann (Harold) Kieffner, of Jasper, Linda (Craig) Englert, of Jackson Alabama; three nieces, Kolleen (Andy) Smith, of Bloomington, IN, Erin (Donn) Tiu Tong, of Rochester, Minnesota, and Renae (Andrew) Burns, of Evansville, IN; two nephews, Jered Englert of Colorado Springs, CO and Jordan Englert of Jacksonville, NC; and a great-nephew , Josiah Smith, and three great-nieces, Emma, Abigail, and Grace Smith, all of Bloomington, IN.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Wilma Meyer.
Funeral services for Martha L. Meyer will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2020, in St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township with burial to follow in the church cemetery in Boone Township. Pastor Tim Kraemer will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at the church on Sunday, September, 6, 2020.
Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed.
