December 10, 2018Mark K. Dutchess, 48, formerly of Jasper, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home in North Augusta, South Carolina.

He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on April 13,1970. He graduated from Jasper High School 1988 and Indiana State University 1992.
Mark enjoyed playing tennis and golf, listening to 50’s and 60’s music especially Elvis, but most notably he enjoyed being a loving father to Emma.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Dutchess, and daughter Emma Dutchess, North Augusta, South Carolina; father, Robert Dutchess (Julie), Jasper; mother, Nancy Barnicott (Edwin) Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Stacy Butterfield (Steve), Powell, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Tinnie Scales, North Augusta, South Carolina; and brother-in-law, Josh Scales (Lindsey), Atlanta, Georgia.
Memorial Services for Mark Keith Dutchess will be conducted Friday, December 14, 2018, at 2 o’clock at Posey Funeral Chapel. Edwin Barnicott officiating.
Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
