Marjorie Houchin, 77, Huntingburg
March 3, 2020Marjorie “Margie” Houchin, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at her residence.

She was born November 17, 1942, in Duff, to Omer and Dora (Brice) Worman; and married Jerald L. Houchin on February 15, 1969, in Huntingburg.
Margie worked at D.M.I. Furniture; enjoyed cooking for family and friends; and loved flowers, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold Enlow, Oscar Worman and Charles Worman; three sisters, Shirley Zink, Rosalee Underwood and Naomi Eckert; and two grandchildren, Joshua Stout and Savannah Stout.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerald L. Houchin of Huntingburg; four children, Janessa (Randy) Bryant of Tell City, Alan Houchin of Huntingburg, Eric (Opal) Houchin of Ada, Michigan and Andrea (Rob) Carpenter of Evansville; six grandchildren, Cory Carpenter, Sarah Carpenter, Jakob Houchin, Samuel Houchin, Benjamin Houchin and Galia Houchin; and three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Willow and Jayden Stout.
Graveside services for Margie Houchin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Jackson Embry will officiate at the graveside service.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
