Maria Rasche and Eric Wilson exchanged wedding vows on Nov. 10, 2018, at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. Myles O’Kelly of Chicago officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Ann Rasche of Jasper. The groom is the son of Mark and Ingrid Wilson of Oak Park, Illinois.
The bride chose Margot Eckerle Burke of Indianapolis as matron of honor and Kelly Eckerle of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as maid of honor. Catherine Wilson of Valparaiso, cousin of the groom; Robin Berman of Chicago; and Sarah Ripke of Newburgh, godchild and cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Arie Rasche of Bloomington, godchild and niece of the bride.
The groom chose his brother, Brian Wilson of Denver, Colorado, as best man. Dr. Matthew Rasche of Bloomington, brother of the bride; Dr. Michael Rasche of Asheville, North Carolina, brother of the bride; John Ticer of Detroit; and Ethan Landis, Corey MacWilliams and Aaron Abaribe, all of Chicago, were groomsmen.
A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus in Jasper on Nov. 24, 2018.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Jasper High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master of Social Work degree in Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She works in community development for an impact investing nonprofit.
Mr. Wilson is a 2007 graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political theory and constitutional democracy from Michigan State University, East Lansing. He is the managing butcher at Publican Quality Meats in Chicago.
