Maple Grove hosting Easter in September
September 4, 2020HUNTINGBURG —The Historic Maple Grove Foundation will host the second annual Easter in September event Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20 at the historic Maple Grove campground.
Saturday events include $10 chicken dinners from Sanders Catering. The meals include 1/4 chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and bread and will be sold from 4 p.m. until sold out. Meals are drive through pick-up.
Sunday will feature the Outdoors in the Grove "Easter" Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Special Guest Pastor James Hill from NorthIndy Church in Indianapolis will lead the service. The service will take place in the grove of maple trees on the outdoor benches, or bring your own lawn chair. Social distancing and face masks are recommended.
The campground is located off State Road 64 West to County Road 585, 1 mile south.
