Man, woman arrested after Jasper altercation

JASPER — A man and a woman were placed under arrest after a Friday evening 911 call.

Yelling was heard in the background during the 911 call that sent Jasper Police Department officers to the 1400 block of Greene Street at 7:25 p.m.

Police determined an altercation had occurred involving Jessica N. Mead, 32, Evansville, and Brandon K. Boyer, 27, 513 Pleasant View Drive, Huntingburg. During the incident, Mead allegedly struck Boyer when a juvenile was present and Boyer allegedly made threats.

Authorities booked Mead into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:34 a.m. Saturday on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of domestic battery. Boyer was booked into the security center at 11:03 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of intimidation.
