Man violates work release terms

JASPER — A Pike County man admitted to violating the terms of his work release in a drug-related case Wednesday.

Jeremy L. Pride, 27, Petersburg, was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday after community corrections requested he be remanded to the jail pending a hearing on a petition to revoke.

During the ensuing hearing Wednesday, Pride admitted in Dubois Superior Court to three major violations to his work release agreement, which was then revoked.

He was sentenced to 120 days in the security center.
