JASPER — A Holland man turned himself in Thursday at the Dubois County Security Center to answer to a warrant charging him with felony domestic battery and intimidation.
The Dubois Circuit Court warrant charges Zackery A. Head, 24, 401 N. First Ave., Holland, with Level 6 felony counts of intimidation and domestic battery in the presence of a child.
Indiana State Police investigated the incident alleged to have occurred in Holland on Aug. 1, according to court documents. A female victim reported the alleged domestic battery Aug. 3.
An affidavit alleges a verbal disagreement between Head and the complainant turned physical. Later, Head was alleged to have sent the victim threatening text messages.
The warrant for Head’s arrest was issued Wednesday. He was booked into the security center at 12:54 p.m. before posting bond later in the afternoon.
