BLOOMFIELD — A man has agreed to plead guilty to killing a 19-year-old woman whose body was found dumped in a rural southwestern Indiana lake.
The plea agreement for 26-year-old Jordan Buskirk of Jasonville was entered with a Greene County court on Tuesday. He’s admitting to murder charges in the death of Katelyn Wolfe of Linton.
Authorities say Wolfe’s body was found June 10 in a lake tied to a 20-pound weight. She had been last seen in Linton four days earlier.
County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw tells the Greene County Daily World that Buskirk faces a prison term of at least 51 years when he’s sentenced Dec. 3.
Twenty-five-year-old Randal Crosley also is charged is Wolfe’s death. He’s pleaded not guilty and has a trial scheduled for March.
