PATRONVILLE — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in southern Spencer County.
Indiana State Police report the crash that resulted in the death of an adult male occurred on State Road 161 near Spencer County Road 300S. Death notifications have been made but authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
The driver of the second vehicle in the accident reported just after 7 a.m. CT also suffered life threatening injuries and was airlifted from the scene, authorities said.
Indiana State Police Detective and accident reconstructionist Josh Greer and Trooper and accident reconstructionist Ross Johnson were sent to the scene at the request of the Spencer County Sheriffs Department to assist with reconstructing the crash.
The volunteer fire departments from Ohio Township and Luce Fire Territory, Spencer County Emergency Medical Services and STAT Flight also assisted.
