JASPER — Authorities have booked a Perry County man into jail on a failure-to-appear warrant in a drug-related case.

David A. Taylor Jr., 42, Tell City, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a synthetic drug and possession of paraphernalia in October 2016 and summonsed into court.

When he twice failed to appear for initial hearings, a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Dubois Superior Court.

Authorities booked Taylor into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:30 p.m. Friday on the active warrant.
