JASPER — Authorities jailed a Huntingburg man Friday on a warrant charging him with escape.
Court documents indicate David A. Porter, 24, 7419 S. 585W, Huntingburg, was a home detention participant through the Dubois County Community Corrections Center. A program supervisor alleges Porter left his residence on numerous occasions without permission.
The issue resulted in a warrant being issued out of Dubois Circuit Court charging Porter with three Level 6 felony counts of escape for allegedly knowingly or intentionally violating a home detention order.
Authorities booked Porter into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:21 a.m. Friday on the active warrant.
