Man jailed on drug-related warrant

JASPER — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office brought a man to jail Thursday on an active warrant in a drug-related case.

In a warrant issued in January 2018, the Jasper Police Department alleged Seth B. Ratcliffe, 29, Vincennes, was found to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe, a pen tube and a metal spoon, all intended for use with controlled substances, during a contact police made with him Nov. 10, 2017, in a room at the Holiday Inn Express, 2000 Hospitality Drive.

Authorities booked Ratcliffe into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:42 p.m. Thursday on the active warrant charging him with Level 6 felony unlawful possession of a syringe and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
