Man jailed on 11-year-old warrant

From Local Sources

JASPER — A Marion County man was brought to the Dubois County Security Center Monday to answer to an 11-year-old misdemeanor warrant.

Harvester Epps, 35, Indianapolis, was accused of misdemeanor marijuana possession on July 7, 2007, after the Jasper Police Department was called to the report of the smell of marijuana coming from a city hotel room. Epps never made an appearance in court after posting bond the same day as his arrest.

A warrant calling for him to be taken into custody was issued July 26, 2007, out of Dubois Superior Court.

Authorities booked Epps into the security center at 3:08 p.m. Monday on the active warrant.
