Man jailed after battery report

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department placed a man into custody Sunday after receiving a report of a physical domestic battery.
Officers responding to the 9:50 a.m. report said they made contact with a female who had suffered visible injury.
An investigation led police to arrest Adrian C. Drummond, 30, 404 E. 14th St., Jasper.
Authorities booked Drummond into the Dubois County Security Center at 12:49 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
