Man injured in Jasper SUV collision

JASPER — An at-fault driver was unable to be identified after SUVs crashed Monday morning in Jasper and conflicting stories were shared with police.
Haley S. Kline, 23, 345 W. 10th St., was traveling northbound on St. Charles Street near its intersection of West 36th Street in a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Meanwhile, a 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by Jose Padilla Garcia, 51, 3106 Leslie Dr., was traveling southeast in the intersection of North Portersville Road and West 36th Street.
According to a Jasper Police Department press release, both vehicles were total losses.
Padilla was transported by EMS to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper with a leg injury.
Uebelhor’s wrecker service and Memorial EMS assisted.
