JASPER — A Huntingburg man was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on Monday to await sentencing.
Robert J. Schlachter, 44, 208 E. Second St., Huntingburg, was charged in Dubois Superior Court with Level 5 felony operating a motor vehicle after forfeiture of license for life and misdemeanor impaired driving in 2018.
In January, Schlachter entered a plea agreement with sentencing to have taken place in March. When Schlachter did not appear for the March 25 sentencing, the court issued a warrant for arrest.
Schlachter appeared in court Monday to get his next hearing date. The court ordered him taken into custody on the warrant and held at the security center until a July 23 sentencing.
