JASPER — A Jasper man arrested last year on multiple counts of child molesting was found guilty of those charges this week.
Last September, the Jasper Police Department arrested Michael A. Jackson, 51, 307 W. 14th St., on a warrant issued Sept. 9 charging him with the multiple felony counts.
That warrant was issued after an investigation by the Dubois County Department of Child Services and Jasper police.
Authorities charged Jackson with Class C felony counts of child molesting and criminal confinement, a Level 1 felony count of child molesting, a Level 4 felony count of child molesting and a Level 5 felony count of criminal confinement.
A Dubois Circuit Court bench trial in the case was held Aug. 8 and 9, after which the court took the matter under advisement. On Wednesday, the court entered judgments of convictions on all five felony counts.
Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 11.
