Man charged with OWI following accident

ST. ANTHONY — A Sunday morning accident on County Road 700E north of County Road 400S resulted in a Huntingburg man being arrested for drunk driving.
Dubois County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Jeovany A. Dubon, 20, and charged him with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (blood alcohol content .137%) and operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment.
County 911 dispatch received a call about an accident on County Road 700E at 3:28 a.m. Deputies went to the scene and found a damaged white pickup truck, police said. Three men were there and two suffered lacerations, but did not seek medical treatment. The men identified Dubon as the driver, police said.
Officers noticed the smell of alcohol and conducted field sobriety tests before arresting Dubon, police said. The truck was towed, but police did not report an estimated cost for damages.
Dubon was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
