JASPER — A Jasper man has been booked into jail on a Dubois Superior Court warrant charging him with methamphetamine possession and obstruction of justice.
Kyle J. Hoffman, 26, 1026 W. Division Road, Jasper, is accused of possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 26 and removing it from a clear vile with the intent to prevent it from being used as evidence, according to court documents.
A warrant charging Hoffman with two Level 6 felonies was issued Wednesday, Oct. 6, and, at 11:20 a.m. Friday, he was booked into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant.
During an initial hearing Tuesday, the court approved Hoffman’s request for pauper counsel and set his next court appearance for Dec. 23.
Hoffman posted bond later Tuesday.
