Court documents allege Gregory R. McGowan, 56, Russell Springs, Kentucky, drove a vehicle that collided with Southern Indiana Eye Associates’ mailbox at 200 St. Charles St., Jasper, on July 24 before he allegedly left the scene without taking reasonable steps to locate and notify the business.
A warrant for his arrest was issued out of Dubois Superior Court on Aug. 8. McGowan was booked at 1 a.m. Saturday into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant.
He was released Monday after appearing in court and having his next hearing set for Dec. 5.
