Man charged in pair of arson deaths
November 17, 2010INDIANAPOLIS — Prosecutors say an Indianapolis man smothered his former girlfriend and then set fire to their infant daughter while the child was still alive.
Joshwa Carlisle of Lawrence was being held without bond today in Marion County Jail on preliminary charges of murder and arson. Authorities believe Carlisle killed 25-year-old Tracie Shannon and then set two fires, one in the doorway of the woman’s bedroom and one on and around 9-month-old Juliana Shannon
