JASPER — Authorities booked a Perry County man into jail during the weekend on a marijuana-possession warrant.
Nicholas R. Schulthise, 23, Tell City, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and given a citation for possession of paraphernalia after an April 2015 traffic stop in Jasper by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Schulthise was issued a summons to appear in court, and when he twice failed to attend initial hearings, a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Dubois Superior Court.
Authorities booked Schulthise into the Dubois County Security Center at 7:01 p.m. Friday on the active warrant.
During a court appearance Monday, Schulthise pleaded guilty, had his sentencing hearing scheduled for May 6 and had his bond set at $250.
