JASPER — A Scott County man was booked Thursday into the Dubois County Security Center on a failure-to-appear warrant in a felony theft case.
Gary L. Spicer, 57, Austin, is charged in Dubois Superior Court with Level 6 felony theft. Charging information alleges that, on Aug. 11, 2018, Spicer took various items valued at a total of $929.70 from the Walmart Supercenter at 4040 N. Newton St.
Spicer was formally charged the following month but, after not being present at several hearings, a failure-to-appear warrant was issued Jan. 17. He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:38 p.m. Thursday on the active warrant.
