HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg man bit another man in a fight Sunday evening.
Andrew S. Burch, 27, 609 N. Washington St., was arrested and charged with battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 5 felony, and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor.
Huntingburg Police and Dubois County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 7:03 p.m. called to the Washington address because two men were fighting.
They made contact with Burch near the residence. Burch told the officers that he and the other man were arguing about video games. In the fight, Burch bit the man, which caused a 1-inch laceration that required medical treatment at Memorial Hospital, police said. Both were believed to be intoxicated, police said.
Burch was taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
