Man arrested on domestic battery, intimidation

HOLLAND — Police took a Holland-area man into custody after being called late Saturday night to the report of a physical domestic that had also involved a firearm.

Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to the 11:10 p.m. dispatch made contact with a female complainant who had signs of visible injury, as well as a friend who reported being grabbed by the arms and shoved out of a house during the incident.

After investigating, deputies arrested Matthew D. Moesner, 37, 9130 S. 850W, Holland.

Authorities booked Moesner into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:32 a.m. Sunday on preliminary charges that included Level 5 felony intimidation with a deadly weapon, Level 6 felony domestic battery with injury and criminal recklessness with a firearm and misdemeanor battery.
