Man arrested on 3 counties’ warrants

CANNELTON — Indiana State Police arrested a Perry County man Saturday evening on warrants from three counties.

Trooper Patrick Stinson, a member of an All Crimes Policing Squad, and Trooper Teresa Bowling tracked down Pete Paris III, of 610 St. Louis Ave., Cannelton, at a residence next to his home at 6:40 p.m.

During the arrest, police said, Paris was found to have a syringe in his possession, which will lead to a new local felony charge.

Authorities booked Paris into the Perry County Jail on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of unlawful possession of a syringe and on the active warrants from Perry (theft), Spencer (probation violation) and Warrick (operator never licensed) counties.
