JASPER — A Sunday evening report of a verbal domestic led to a man’s arrest.
The Jasper Police Department was called to apartments in the 500 block of West Village Court at 7:24 p.m.
Officers answering the call were informed that an intoxicated man later identified as Richard D.W. Taylor, 23, New Albany, was in a back bedroom.
Police allege Taylor refused to identify himself and became aggressive with officers.
An investigation also found Taylor had an active warrant for a probation violation out of Floyd County.
Authorities took Taylor into custody and booked him into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:13 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement and refusal to aid an officer.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
