Man arrested for invasion of privacy

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department arrested a man Tuesday afternoon and accused him of invasion of privacy.

Authorities say the Pike County Department of Child Services was conducting a home visit and determined Tyler E. Griffith, 35, 1606 Newton St., Jasper, was at the home of the protected person in an active protective order against Griffith.

The Jasper Police Department was notified of the alleged protective order violation at 1:41 p.m.

Authorities booked Griffith into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:15 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy. Griffith posted bond later in the afternoon.
