Man arrested for invasion of privacy

FERDINAND — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jacob L. Volz, 42, 1622 Newton St., Jasper, on Friday and accused him of invasion of privacy.

Law enforcement received information Friday morning that Volz, who was wanted on a body attachment warrant, was staying at a residence in Ferdinand.

A deputy and Ferdinand Police Department officers went to the location and made contact with Volz and a woman who was determined to be the protected person in an active no-contact order against Volz.

Authorities booked Volz into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:09 a.m. on the body attachment warrant and on a preliminary misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy.
