Man arrested for battery with injury

JASPER — Police jailed a man after being called Monday evening to a reported physical altercation at a Jasper gas station.
Jasper Police officers responded at 5 p.m. to the report at the north side Citgo Gas Station. Upon arrival, it was determined that Anthony W. Nash Jr., 42, Otwell, was involved in the altercation with another male subject.
After investigation, Nash was arrested and charged with battery. The charge was elevated to a Level 5 felony due to the injuries the other male received.
