Man appears on driving-offense warrant

JASPER — A Kentucky man turned himself in Tuesday at the Dubois County Security Center to answer to a warrant issued in a suspended driving case.

Aaron E. Hurst, 39, Madisonville, Kentucky, was originally charged with misdemeanor driving while suspended (prior) in February 2017. A failure-to-appear warrant was issued in Dubois Superior Court in October 2017, after Hurst missed several court hearings in the case.

Hurst was in court Wednesday to plead guilty. He was sentenced to spend 10 days in the security center.
