Man accused of property damage, wallet theft

JASPER — Police made an arrest after receiving a theft complaint Wednesday morning.

The 6:57 a.m. call sent Jasper Police Department officers to a residence in the 100 block of East 36th St.

Police say Caleb J. Hundley, 24, 923 Mill St., Jasper, was located not far from the residence in question and an investigation determined Hundley had damaged property and had taken a wallet from the residence.

Authorities booked Hundley into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary charges of Level 6 felony theft and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
