Man accused of invasion of privacy

BIRDSEYE — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department took a man into custody Sunday for an alleged protective order violation.

A woman who is the protected party in the case reported Sunday that she had been contacted many times via social media in violation of a protective order issued last month.

After investigating, a deputy took Joshua J. McBride, 42, 8042 S. State Road 145, Birdseye, into custody.

Authorities booked McBride into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:24 p.m. Sunday on a misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy.
